From Hixton: Exit I-94. Take Hwy. 95 west to Hwy. P at Taylor. Turn left on Hwy. P. Go about one mile to Hwy. N. Go straight on Hwy. N about nine miles to Hwy. C. Turn right on C. Go 1.5 miles. Claire Road is across from an old schoolhouse converted into a house with a barn in the yard as you approach Franklin. Look for our inn sign. Turn left. We’re one mile back at the end of the road. There is a sign for guest parking in front of our house.
From Black River Falls: Exit I-94 at Hwy. 54. Take Hwy. 54 west through Black River Falls. Turn right on Hwy. C on the west end of Black River Falls. Go about 16 miles. Claire Road is across from an old schoolhouse converted into a house with a barn in the yard as you approach Franklin. Look for our inn sign. Turn left. We’re one mile back at the end of the road. There is a sign for guest parking in front of our house.
From La Crosse/Onalaska: Take Hwy. 53 north. Go through Galesville and Ettrick to Beach Corners. Turn right on Hwy. C. Go about seven miles through Hegg and Franklin to Claire Road. Claire Road is across from an old schoolhouse converted into a house with a barn in the yard. Look for our inn sign. Turn right. We’re one mile back at the end of the road. From Winona, Minn: Take Hwy. 54 east through Centerville to Galesville, which is about 15 miles. Turn left on Hwy. 53 north. Go through Galesville and Ettrick to Beach Corners. Turn right on Hwy. C. From Sparta: (Take the Hwy. 27 exit north from I-90. Travel 11 miles north on Hwy. 27 to Hwy. 71. Turn left. Travel eight miles on Hwy. 71 to Hwy. 108. Turn right. Go one mile to Melrose where Hwy. 108 becomes Hwy. 54. Travel north on Hwy. 54 through Melrose. Turn left on Hwy. N about one mile north of Melrose. Travel eight miles on Hwy. N to Hwy. C. Turn left on C and go about one mile and turn left on Claire Road, which is across from an old schoolhouse converted into a house with a barn in the yard as you approach Franklin. From West Salem : Take Hwy. 16 east to Hwy. 108. For a winding tour through the Mindoro Cut, stay on Hwy. 108 north. Otherwise turn right on Hwy. C about one-half mile from Hwy. 16. Stay on Hwy. C until it reconnects with Hwy. 108 (near Burr Oak), which is about 10 miles. Turn right on Hwy. 108. Turn right. Stay on Hwy. 108 to Melrose, where the road becomes Hwy. 54. Travel north on Hwy. 54 through Melrose. Turn left on Hwy. N about one mile north of Melrose. Travel eight miles on Hwy. N to Hwy. C. Turn left on C and go about one mile and turn left on Claire Road, which is across from an old schoolhouse converted into a house with a barn in the yard as you approach Franklin.
